How To Simply Dissolve Negative Thinking
Repetition is the key to success in any endeavour. But without the right methods and self-suggestions being repeated consistently. You can end up running your mind in circles. Most of the time, if we don’t monitor the way we think, our minds get the best of us. Leading us on trains of thoughts that take us to destinations undesired. How do we jump on the mental train that keeps leading us to the right stops and ultimately reveals us to define ourselves as successful?
Let’s go through a few different methods that have been timelessly utilised and emphasised by the greatest minds throughout our human history.
Understanding what your thoughts are:
Thoughts are an invisible part of reality that travel throughout our atmosphere. Travelling in a wave like fashion, subconsciously. We can’t see thoughts, but can feel and internally hear thoughts flowing through our minds.
Understanding what your subconscious mind is:
Your sub-concious mind can be identified as the deeper layers of our conscious thinking that is always awake and alert. It can usually communicate to us through how we feel about things. It is more intact with our instinctual kinaesthetic side. The subconscious part of you communicates to you through some of your non-physical senses such as imagination, intuition (gut feeling), perception and reason. It is designed to serve your survival mechanism and can be of great help to you when you are in a state of mind that is “objective” driven.
Understanding what your conscious mind is:
Your conscious mind is the part of your mind that is only being used in the present experience. It’s main objective is to accept or reject suggestive thoughts travelling in and out, from and to your conscious experiences and subconscious faculties. With your conscious mind, you are able to control your experience through your actions via your five physical senses (smell, touch, taste, hear and see).
So, the thinking process works like this. The invisible subconscious atmosphere of our thinking travels through to our conscious mind with ideas (usually through inner imagery via our imagination) Where our conscious mind can either accept the idea in mind to be formed into a belief we carry, or reject the subconscious suggestion and let it pass on to travel again, hoping to find another conscious mind that may accept the idea.
There are two ways that your conscious mind can be presented with a new suggestion. One is through suggestions from your external experience. It could be through families, friends, movies, music, media, books, magazines etc. Pretty much anything that presents you with a suggestion or way of thinking about something. The second is through suggestions formed in your own subconscious mind, which usually forms from how you feel about things in your experience.
Everything in your conscious experience is formed first from your subconscious mind as a concept that if accepted as true by your conscious thinking mind, will begin to affect the way you sense things in your present.
Now, no matter how complex all of this might sound to some, the methods that can serve you to take hold of your conscious life is found in simplicity. Really, simplicity is always the key to dissolving negativity from your mindset.
This is what you’ll do for the next 90 days to serve your personal growth to get you on the positive train.
- Keep in mind a major goal to be completed within the next 3 to 6 months.
Your conscious mind works like a ship at sea. Without a captain steering, the ship will wonder the ocean aimlessly. The ocean is your subconscious mind and the captain is your objective aim. Making goals apart of your day to day lifestyle can serve you to form new habits that occupy and serve your time well. It also directs a lot of what your subconscious mind notices in your daily experiences to support what it suggests to your conscious mind. As you stay consciously objective towards your aim, your subconscious mind begins to get the memo that you’re only open to ideas and thoughts that serve the direction you’re concretely definite in.
2. Consciously fill your mind up with the idea of a desired achievement
Being selective with what you feed your mind consistently will eventually affect the way you feel and think towards your desired experiences. Reading, watching, listening and hanging around resources, people and things that serve your outcome ultimately lead you to act in tune with what you surround yourself with, regularly. You’re a product of the products you like to feed off, so begin to choose wisely what you spend your time occupying yourself with.
Giving yourself just 10 minutes upon rising and 10 minutes before going to bed to think about the things you can be grateful for can really serve to dissolve negative thinking patterns. A lot of our present issues/problems (especially mentally) can be cured through practicing the act of cultivating gratitude for people and things in our lives. Gratitude is a miracle worker in the mind and can serve to cleanse your feelings when they are seeming to be under pressure. This act alone can completely change how you feel about your days and nights in your lifetime.
Now this is more of a psyche-thing, but what isn’t really? It’s true that we may allow ourselves to be affected by the suggestions of others in our external world. However, you MAY allow yourself to be affected, it doesn’t mean that it NEEDS to affect you. The beauty of our lives is that we get to consciously decide whether we will allow our life cicrumstances to master us or allow ourselves to react to it constructively, which leads us to mastering it. A great way to constantly be in a state of control is to stop every now and then to affirm in yourself what is naturally yours to be blessed with. For example, you are naturally “strong” so identifying with yourself that you’re a strong and capable person can help you to feel more strong and capable. And how we feel about things really is the key to shaping things the way we’d like to. Make a habit to suggest to yourself the qualities that you’re desiring to perceive in yourself and to be perceived as. E.g. “I am smart. I am healthy. I am creatively enthusiastic” etc.
These are four methods that you can start today that serve to simply dissolve your negative thinking patterns. It takes less than 30 minutes to in-still into your character before getting out to attack the day. Give yourself some time at the beginning and end of each day. You will come to find over the next 90 days (some sooner than others) that you will feel great improvements within yourself and how you frame your perspective.
